Night Dive

Love our daytime diving? Try a night dive on the Barrier Reef! Your nighttime adventure heads out just before sunset. Once underwater, a flashlight illuminates a new world. Shine your light into coral crevices and find brittle starfish, red hermit crabs and shrimp's eyes reflecting back at you. It is not unusual to encounter Parrotfish asleep with a mucous membrane surrounding their bodies to confuse their predators. If you're lucky, you'll see an octopus change colours - to reflect its mood - before your eyes. During surface intervals, enjoy the Milky Way overhead.

Night diving requires PADI Advanced Open Water Certification or equivalent.  Don't have it?  You can take the advanced course while at Hamanasi, you'll learn new skills and your night dive can be counted towards your certification!  Ask our Dive Instructors for more information.

Everyday, Hamanasi offers a barrier reef excursion and an inland excursion based on a preset schedule. These scheduled tours are included in package rates. Tours beyond the daily scheduled tours are not included in package rates but can be booked at the listed cost. All tours are accompanied by a licensed Belizean tour guide and include any permits needed. A PADI professional accompanies all dive trips.
