In an effort to expose our Green Team members to new and innovative sustainable ideas, the entire team got the opportunity to visit The Lodge at Chaa Creek in Western Belize. This experience was a momentous occasion for each member. Chaa Creek staff were very accommodating and took the members on a tour of their laundry facilities, purchasing department, woodwork shop and their farm.
While on the farm, the staff were able to share some of the challenges they face in the upkeep of the farm. The interest of our Gardener was most heightened. On the drive back home, the Green Team members expressed a sense of joy and satisfaction in being able to share their own experiences with the staff at Chaa Creek. Mission accomplished!
