Due to COVID-19 Hamanasi currently is closed. The Government of Belize had planned to reopen the international airport on August 15, 2020. Due to increasing cases, however, it has delayed the opening to October 1, 2020. Our team shares the deepest concern for those affected either directly or indirectly by the ongoing threat of COVID-19. We hope that you and your family are safe and well.
We greatly miss our employees, most of whom are furloughed. They are the pulse of Hamanasi, and we long to have back their smiling faces. Also we are missing you, our guests. We all look forward to when we can again welcome and share our slice of paradise with you.
At Hamanasi, we seek authentic connections to nature, starting with our design. As a boutique hotel, we practice social distancing naturally with just 30 rooms on a large property. Our many private treehouses are spaced out within the coastal forest and our beachfront rooms all have separate outdoor entrances. Most of our public spaces are open to the fresh air and warm Caribbean breezes.
Our first priority, as it has always been, is the continued wellness and safety of our guests and employees. Once we reopen we will be taking a number of additional health and safety measures including masks wearing, enhanced cleaning, social distancing and more. We will abide by the Belize Government’s guidelines for re-opening.
Through all this we will continue to provide our gracious hospitality, small intimate experiences and regenerative practices.
The economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic is acutely felt in Belize. If you are able, please support the Hopkins Village Food Bank.
As soon as we know for certain when we will reopen, we will update this page and alert any guests who have upcoming reservations. Should you have any questions, please contact our reservations staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-844-235-4930.
In the meantime:
Stay Home. Stay Safe. And then, Stay Boutique.
