Hamanasi was the best trip I have ever taken with my niece. The staff, from booking to our final drive to the airport, were exceptional. While booking they were so helpful answering questions. Once we arrived in Belize they were outstanding! They provided a wealth of information and care in all of the activities we participated in and we solidly booked each and every day we were there. Our activities ranged from snorkeling and scuba lessons to visiting the Mayan ruins, horseback riding, canoeing down the river to our ultimate adventure of tubing through the cave system. No matter what request we made of the staff, they immediately and courteously helped us. They went out of their way to treat us as a valued family member. Our cave excursion was not part of our original adventures, but at the last minute, they were able to change our schedule to accommodate our request. The room was absolutely beautiful, we were particularly impressed with the furniture which is all crafted on Belize. We had a covered deck which had ocean views. Absolutely spectacular!!!! The meals served were exquisite in presentation and taste. We can't thank Hamansi staff for the best vacation we have had together! We look forward to returning in the future!

A blissful week in Belize. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we had such a great visit to Belize and Hamanasi. Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. EVERYONE made an effort to learn our names and preferences. The dining was very good with a menu that changes daily. (Don’t miss the ceviche of the day). The adventures were very interesting with great driver/guides. Wow! We did a day trip to two different Mayan ruins, caving, and bird/nature canoe, a waterfall hike and swim and snorkeling. Lastly from the logistics perspective, they met us at the airport and returned us to the airport. They ran the trips with their own staff and guides - terrific!!!

Had a great time here celebrating my anniversary and attending a wedding. The staff was amazing in providing services and tending to requests. The different excursions were amazing (some through the resort and others arranged by the resort) from cave tubing, diving/snorkeling, fishing, hikes, etc. Highly recommend for relaxing getaway!

Exceptional resort, exceptional staff, exceptional food and adventures. Thank you each and everyone one of you from maintenance, gardeners, front desk, security, wait staff, kitchen, cleaning and ALL … always smiling and cheerful. We had a great experience at Hamanasi. I’ve read through a lot of other reviews and agree with the positive comments about the rooms and the staff. I wanted to add some additional points that I think others may have missed. We were very happy with all the meals. My wife and I preferred not to eat in the restaurant for breakfast and wanted something lighter as well. The staff had no issue packing me a to-go container of fresh cut fruit and I grabbed some breads (muffins, johnny cakes, banana bread…) and coffee to take back to our treehouse. We thought the portions for dinner were good for a three-course meal. I always had room for dessert (the chef’s choice varied each day). I left full but not stuffed. I do want to point out that on our first night, they said if we wanted half-portions or up-sized servings that they would accommodate us. I don’t want those with big appetites to think they will be hungry. They also served bread of the day with dinner which varied daily. The other thing I want to emphasize is the small group sizes for the excursions. On one snorkel trip, our boat went out with eight people, and we split into groups of four with both groups having a dive master. On my second snorkel trip, it was threatening rain, so several guests dropped out. They still took the boat out with just two of us. For the land adventures, both of ours started at 8:00 am. This allowed us to avoid crowds and still have a big part of the day left for relaxing after we returned. For the Mayflower Waterfall Hike, we staggered two vans from Hamanasi. My group had seven people with two guides. We reached the top of the hike and had the swimming pool all to ourselves. For the Cave Tubing (this was extra), just my wife and I went. This was a destination that the cruise ships also hit, but we arrived and were the only people in the parking lot. We actually trekked into the caves to explore and swam through some caverns, so this was much more than a leisurely tube drifting through the caves, and most of it was done without anyone else around. Many of the guides and staff have worked for Hamanasi many years, so it feels like they treat their employees well and that is important to us.

My wife and I are currently at a sub par resort talking about how Hamanasi was one of the best experiences of our lives. -The food was beyond exceptional. Every meal was special, and they served a pork caldo soup that 7 years later is still the best soup I have ever had in my life. - the excursions were all fun (not very strenuous) but let you see what the forests and the ocean had to offer. -the rooms were huge, bedding was exceptional and the views were great. Very easy access to the beach.

We stayed at Hamanasi Adventure & Dive Resort about two years ago, and it’s still one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve had. The level of service and attention to detail stood out immediately. Within the first day, the staff had learned our names, which created a welcoming and personal atmosphere that continued throughout the entire stay. I also have dietary restrictions and food allergies, and the team was incredibly accommodating. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and I never felt like I was an inconvenience, which made a huge difference in being able to fully relax and enjoy the trip. The setting itself is beautiful, lush, peaceful, and immersed in nature. It feels removed from the busy world in the best way, while still being comfortable and well organized. The excursions were exceptional and very well coordinated. We especially loved visiting the chocolate factory, canoeing, river cave floating, and our day trip to Tikal. Each experience felt authentic, safe, and professionally guided. The Tikal trip in particular was unforgettable and absolutely worth doing. What really makes Hamanasi special is the combination of stunning environment, thoughtful hospitality, and expertly planned adventures. Even two years later, we still talk about how wonderful the experience was. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Belize experience that combines relaxation, adventure, and genuine hospitality.

Best vacation ever! Hamamasi Resort is fantastic. The staff is always happy and ready to assist you with whatever you need. The adventures are top notch and the guides are very knowledgeable about where you are and what you are seeing. The food is spectacular and the staff will work with you regarding allergies or dietary needs. We are definitely going back for more fun and adventures.
