Really fun Resort !!!!

Probably the best staff experience at a hotel I have ever had. The whole Hamanasi Team was amazing, super friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything, we had a great time!

We stayed in a tree house and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were fantastic helping us choose the best adventures and even helped plan something custom. Excellent food and drinks. It’s not a huge resort but so much to do and enjoy.

My husband and I went to Hamanasi for our honeymoon in October of 2022 and even with a HURRICANE & evacuation it was honestly the most magical experience of my life. The staff takes such good care of you, everyone is so nice and takes time to get to know the guests. Food is delicious & they are very attentive to dietary needs & preferences. My husband has celiac disease & requires a gluten free diet and they were awesome making sure we were taken care of, down to little details like having gluten free cookies available for us on the excursions. Could not recommend more.

Congratulations! You can stop you resort search now. Our stay at Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything from the lush, intimate grounds to the warm, attentive staff set the tone for an unforgettable experience in Belize. This resort is perfect for travelers who want real adventure paired with genuine downtime. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the food was consistently excellent, and the overall vibe struck that rare balance of laid-back luxury and authentic local charm. We packed our days with experiences like the jungle canoe, Mayflower waterfall hike, snorkeling, and the Mayan tour, each led by incredibly knowledgeable guides who stayed with us the entire time, sharing history, answering questions, and making sure everything ran smoothly. You never feel rushed or herded; it’s thoughtful, personal, and well-run. One of the best surprises was how small and quaint the resort feels. You truly get to know the staff (they greet you by name every time you walk into a room) and even connect with other guests in a relaxed, social way. The pier became our favorite hangout—lounging in hammocks, spotting manatees, and watching the sunrise over the water was pure magic. A quick note for planning: this is not a resort I’d recommend for families with young kids. There isn’t much for them to do, and at times it can disrupt the otherwise serene, adventure-focused atmosphere that most guests are there for. All in all, Hamanasi is a 10/10. If you’re looking for a place that delivers unforgettable adventures, incredible service, and a peaceful, authentic setting you won’t find better. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Third visit to Hamanasi, and not our last! It's a gem of a resort. From the entire staff, who call you by name, to the facilities and grounds, and food service, everything is excellent. We were very well taken care of. We will be back.

Best vacation ever! Hamamasi Resort is fantastic. The staff is always happy and ready to assist you with whatever you need. The adventures are top notch and the guides are very knowledgeable about where you are and what you are seeing. The food is spectacular and the staff will work with you regarding allergies or dietary needs. We are definitely going back for more fun and adventures.

We stayed in the Deluxe Tree House surrounded by the rainforest and steps away from the beach and the main house. I could not have dreamed up Hamanasi. The kind of place you don't want to leave when you are there, and dream of returning to when you get back home. We loved the personal attention and assistance at our meals and activities, which included the best horseback riding, the best snorkeling and the best visit to a Mayan ruin. A wild and beautiful place, captured one afternoon as I walked along the beach and was passed by two village boys galloping down the coast on their horses. We ate all our meals at the main lodge, and they were all excellent. Local dance/drums night was a special treat. No surprise that many guests were on return visits.

We just got back from this lovely resort. Everything was wonderful! The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay fabulous. The food was great - you can ask for anything and they will try to accommodate any special requests. Excisions were amazing. All in all this is an incredible resort and we’d highly recommend it.

Our family of 5 couldn’t have been more blessed to have stayed here on our 1st trip to Belize. Everything was incredible from the food to the adventures to the culture and the staff, literally everything. Axel was an exceptional guide! Ems was a wonderful guide on the hikes as well! We have been to many places around the world with our children and this was one of the best trips we have ever experienced. Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef was magical and the attention to detail of eco friendliness was next level. We can’t wait to come back!
