Outstanding service, truly caring staff, flawless assistance, easy to participate in adventures. The reef for snorkeling is extensive, shallow and populated with spotted rays, nurse sharks, loggerhead turtles, corals, gorgonians, you name it. Food was excellent. The deluxe treehouse is beautifully appointed and provides a rich jungle wildlife and nature experience. Resort is ecologically sensitive: bamboo straws and zero single use plastic. Outstanding guided tours over extensive reefs shallow enough for easy snorkelling and populated by abundant sea creatures such as spotted rays, loggerhead turtles and purple seafans.

A blissful week in Belize. Although the weather wasn’t the best, we had such a great visit to Belize and Hamanasi. Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. EVERYONE made an effort to learn our names and preferences. The dining was very good with a menu that changes daily. (Don’t miss the ceviche of the day). The adventures were very interesting with great driver/guides. Wow! We did a day trip to two different Mayan ruins, caving, and bird/nature canoe, a waterfall hike and swim and snorkeling. Lastly from the logistics perspective, they met us at the airport and returned us to the airport. They ran the trips with their own staff and guides - terrific!!!

Best vacation ever! Hamamasi Resort is fantastic. The staff is always happy and ready to assist you with whatever you need. The adventures are top notch and the guides are very knowledgeable about where you are and what you are seeing. The food is spectacular and the staff will work with you regarding allergies or dietary needs. We are definitely going back for more fun and adventures.

As so many others have stated, Hamanasi is in a class all its own. We spent 8 nights in a beachfront plus room, which gave us exceptional comfort for our family of 4 (we have two boys, ages 9 and almost 11). We booked a Reef and Rainforest package, and were absolutely blown away with our experience. We felt so well cared for during our stay, on so many levels. The grounds are impeccable. Hamanasi has preserved much of the native tree canopy, which not only provides a beautiful backdrop for the resort but also provides homes for many species of birds as well as a sizeable troop of Coatis, which are fun to watch. The grounds crew rakes the property each morning, a level of care that is just astounding. The restaurant on site provides great options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the menu proved to be varied and delicious throughout our stay. For excursions that included meals, the coordination and attention to detail was very impressive, and the meals themselves were tasty. The guide staff was truly the highlight, though. We did snorkeling, birding, canoeing, toured Mayan sites, cave tubing, and did a night hike through the jungle. All of them were super fun, and we felt the enthusiasm of the guides on all of them. I'm a bird nerd, and was able to capture 72 species of birds on our one day birding and around the property. I could go on at length, but suffice it to say that we had an amazing experience that did not disappoint. Kudos to the entire staff, and we hope to visit again.

We absolutely love everything about Hamanasi. The rooms are lovely, ample in size, and the treehouse rooms are especially beautiful. Private, large, close to wildlife, and very special. The service is impeccable. Everyone is just lovely. And the Dive Shop is the most professional, impressive one we’ve ever seen. Our whole family dives, and we are return visitors. We loved our dive instructors. My wife and I got our Advanced PADI certification, and our daughters will do that on their next trip. We plan to return again!

Spent five nights here in a deluxe tree house with daily breakfast. We signed up for the package with three adventures (chose scuba diving-2 tank dives) for each, but dropped most lunches and dinners. We had a car and enjoyed most dinners out. Too much to eat otherwise! From our arrival to departure (with special mention to Risa!) we had a fantastic time (even with the rain). The staff make an effort to learn your name (which can be unsettling if you aren’t used to it) and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Darnell and Tony in the Adventure Center got us sorted for our scuba days. On the boat Capt Neal, Garif, Dencil and Hatchet always made sure we were in good hands diving and were attentive, watchful and supportive. Good snacks during our surface interval (cookies and fruit, juice, etc) and fresh towels after each dive. Breakfast was substantial and delicious, with a different daily special. One day we had lunch and dinner and those meals were also delicious. Lorena, Juan, Gabe and Kisha took good care of us. Nice pool. Good library. Take the tour of the carpentry department with Selvin and be amazed at everything they make for the resort. Loved the 15-minute jet lag massage and also the resort’s resident cats. Afternoon or evening soaks in our private jacuzzi were decadent! Immaculate gardens. Tree houses are spotless. Ample umbrellas across the property if you get caught without one. Everything about our time here was fantastic!

Every single aspect of Hamanasi is absolutely top notch. The entire staff here provided the best service I have ever experienced. The snorkeling and dining are even better than we expected. We are already booking for next year!

Can't begin to describe how amazing this resort is. The location, the staff, the rooms, the restaurant are all as perfect as they could be. Plenty of everything - kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs at the pool or on the beach, hammocks, etc etc - we never waited for anything. The staff know your name and quickly learn your preferences and then anticipate your needs. And most impressive is that they are all so genuine and sincere in their desire to make your stay the best experience. There is plenty to keep you busy, or you can just relax and do nothing. They exceeded every expectation. We are going back!!

Beautiful luxury resort. Hopkins Bay is the best.

This place was an incredible experience. My wife and I went here for our honeymoon. We were there for 10 days. By the 2ne day, everyone at the resort knew our names. They had champagne in our room when we arrived and we're very accommodating. The scuba staff was super professional and helped open our eyes to the wonders of the ocean and the reef life. The dive masters had go pro's to help capture the amazing moments, as well as dive computers to help us stay safe. We had a blast and can't wait to come back!
