Danisha Mae Coleman hails proudly from the Garifuna village of Hopkins. Danisha has been part of the Hamanasi family since 2010 and started as a waitress. Now, she is one of our Food & Beverage supervisors.
Her smile is as big as her heart of gold. Danish is a well known comedian and foodie person behind the scene. “When it comes to delivering the best service possible I work hard, but I play even harder!” said Danisha.
Danisha is a proud mom of two boys and one girl. In her free time, she does lots of hair braiding or styling for locals and even guests at times. In addition to dancing and telling jokes she loves to spend time travelling with her family. And when it comes time to eat, her favourite food is local Garifuna hudut — a true, proud Garinagu!
