One of Hamanasi’s pool attendant, Ewart ‘Alex’ Grant, is the father of two boys that keep him very busy when he is at home. During his spare time he loves to work with his hands and can be found building his house, which is almost finished with construction.
Alex began his journey in the tourism industry as a craftsman, working with his hands in his dad’s souvenir shop making seashell bracelets and trinkets. When he started working at Hamanasi, it was as a dishwasher. After a couple months he expressed the desire to be a part of the restaurant team. At Hamanasi, the ladder is always available to climb. Alex quickly received that opportunity and was trained to bus tables. Because of his humble, very willing and quick learning personality, Alex soon was promoted to a waiter. His most recent promotion is to provide bar service at the pool.
