Che'il Maya Chocolate Tour
Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate… Who doesn’t love chocolate??? On this half day tour you’ll make your own bar of chocolate – from start to delicious finish! In the community of Maya Center you will visit a cacao farm where the farmer gives you a complete history of his organic cacao farm. You’ll start by tasting the fruit from the cacao tree and end with a Maya chocolate bar in your hands.
During this hands on experience you get to touch and taste organic cacao beans from the tree. You will learn how to make your own chocolate on traditional grinding stones just like the ancient Maya did.
