As you drive through Hopkins Village this time of year, one thing you will immediately notice is the plethora of lush mango trees loaded with ripe, juicy fruit. Belize is home to a delicious variety of mangos coming in all sizes, shapes, and colors—from the juicy Madame Francis and colorful Number 11s to sweet, fibrous mangoes enjoyed fresh all season long.
On June 13th & 14th, just down the road from Hamanasi, Hopkins comes alive with the ultimate celebration of the season: Mango Fest! At many Belizean festivals, there is incredible live music and food, and Mango Fest is no exception. You can enjoy vibrant Garifuna drumming, local arts & crafts, live DJs, and over 50 vendors serving delicious mango-inspired treats, cocktails, fresh seafood, and more.
At Hamanasi, mango season is extra special. Guests can enjoy fresh local mangos, tropical flavors, and festive energy throughout their stay.
